General Conditions of Sale
1. Seller Identification
This site is operated by the company VIGIL TERROIRS & CARACTERES , registered in Guadeloupe. Complete company identification information is available in the Legal Notices.
2. Purpose
These general terms and conditions of sale (GTC) govern the contractual relations between VIGIL TERROIRS & CARACTERES and any customer making a purchase via the rhumsprestiges.fr website.
3. Products
The products offered for sale are described and presented with the greatest care. The photographs visible on the site are taken by us, directly in the cellar, in order to faithfully reflect the actual condition of the bottles offered.
Some old bottles may show signs of age (damaged labels, patinated capsules, etc.). These marks are part of their history and are deliberately left visible, for the sake of authenticity and transparency.
Customers are encouraged to carefully examine the visuals before placing an order. For any questions, additional information, or additional photos can be sent upon request.
4. Orders
All orders placed on the site are subject to confirmation by email. The store reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order in the event of suspected fraud or payment incident.
5. Price
Prices are listed in euros, including VAT. Delivery charges may apply depending on the delivery method chosen. VIGIL TERROIRS & CARACTERES reserves the right to change its prices at any time.
6. Payment
Payment is secure and can be made by credit card, PayPal, or in installments if this option is available. Transactions are handled through Shopify's authorized partners.
7. Delivery
Deliveries are currently only available in Guadeloupe. Two options are available: home delivery via local carrier or Click & Collect at the following address: 10 Immeuble Le Forum, 97122 Baie-Mahault . Orders are processed within 24 to 72 business hours. Delivery time is estimated between 2 and 5 business days after dispatch.
8. Right of withdrawal and returns
Returns are accepted if the product is incorrect or damaged upon receipt. The customer must contact customer service within 14 days by sending an email to contact@rhumsprestiges.fr , with their order number, a description of the problem and supporting photos. This evidence is also mandatory in the event of a return directly to the store. No returns will be accepted for opened products, for hygiene reasons. Refunds will be made within 7 to 14 working days after validation. Return costs are the responsibility of the customer unless we made an error.
9. Restriction on the sale of alcohol
Alcohol sales are restricted to adults of legal drinking age in their country of residence. Proof of identity may be requested upon delivery or Click & Collect pickup. The customer acknowledges this obligation when confirming the order.
10. Customer Service
For any questions or requests for information, customer service can be contacted by email ( contact@rhumsprestiges.fr ), telephone, via the website chatbox or via social networks. A response is provided within 24 to 48 working hours.
11. Personal data
Personal information collected during the order process is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. It is used exclusively for order processing, customer service, and business relationship management.
12. Limitation of liability
VIGIL TERROIRS & CARACTERES cannot be held responsible for improper use of the products, improper storage, or excessive consumption. The customer agrees to store the bottles in optimal conditions and to consume responsibly.
13. Applicable law
These General Terms and Conditions are subject to French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought as a priority. Failing this, the competent courts of Guadeloupe will be referred to.
