From the Bielle distillery, emblematic of the island of Marie-Galante, this 2009 vintage is an authentic aged rum from Marie-Galante, aged 12 years in ex-Bourbon oak barrels and bottled at 50.7% brut, without reduction or filtration. Distilled in pure cane juice according to the traditional methods of the Bielle distillery, it asserts itself by its richness and strength. This Bielle 2009 is distinguished by its rarity: 1,057 numbered carafes produced, in a strictly limited edition.

With an intense golden color, this rum reveals notes of candied fruit , roasted coffee , brown caramel and a subtle woody touch on the nose. On the palate, the attack is generous: dark chocolate, spiced honey, orange zest and blond tobacco balance each other in an almost creamy texture. The finish, long and elegant, reveals accents of toast, nutmeg and a hint of vanilla.
