The Bielle Section Aérienne de Gendarmerie , 2012 vintage, is an old agricultural rum from Marie-Galante which has waited 9 years in carefully monitored barrels before being released at 52.2% cask strength in a limited edition , in homage to the Air Section of the Gendarmerie of Guadeloupe.

The vintage, reserved for a small circle of enthusiasts, rarely appears in stores; there are only a handful of ephemeral offers, proof of its confidential distribution.

This rum has an amber color. On the nose, we can expect intense aromas of cane, spices and citrus fruits , characteristic of Bielle vintages. On the palate, connoisseurs often describe a powerful attack with notes of exotic fruits, cocoa, wood and a long and structured finish.

When the wings of the gendarmerie fly over the reeds of Marie-Galante, rum takes on the taste of honor.
