Description
Coming from the Martinique tradition of agricultural rum , Clément Vintage 1970 is an old AOC agricultural rum distilled in 1970 , aged for 15 years in 200 L oak barrels , then bottled in 1991 at 44% vol. , in a numbered limited edition.
Its mahogany color reveals an elegant nose mixing red tobacco, warm spices, hazelnut and red berries , on a woody frame. On the palate, it offers a velvety texture , carried by notes of gingerbread , cocoa , prune , followed by a subtle minty freshness. The finish is long and delicious, marked by toasted wood , sweet smoke and delicate tannins .
