Coming from the Martinique tradition of agricultural rum , Clément Vintage 2002 is an aged rum distilled from pure cane juice. Aged for 15 years in oak barrels in a tropical climate, it was bottled in 2017 , after patient aging under the heated roofs of the Habitation Clément estate.

This vintage reflects the expertise of the Clément house in all its subtlety. Its slow maturation in barrels has allowed it to develop a rich and delicate aromatic profile , without ever losing finesse. Each bottle is the expression of a mastered balance between woody structure, floral elegance and gentle complexity. A work of time, without haste.

On the nose, this rum reveals aromas of dried fruits, noble wood and vanilla caramel . The palate is round and smooth , carried by notes of walnut, candied plum, nutmeg and blond tobacco . The finish is silky and persistent , all in spicy sweetness.
