The Depaz Cuvée Volutes XO , born to enhance the cigar experience, plays the card of elegance and complexity. This cuvée, paying homage to Victor Depaz, is inspired by the curls of smoke that swirled during his visits to the smoking room of Château Depaz with his guests. It offers a taste story in three stages : an initial classic aging in ex-Bourbon barrels , followed by maturation in new American oak barrels , then a short finish in single malt whisky barrels to refine its signature.

The blend is bottled at 45% and offered in a limited edition of approximately 2,100 numbered bottles.

On the nose, aromas of orange marmalade , cigar box , cocoa and blond tobacco , wrapped in toasted wood, create a richly articulated bouquet. On the palate, the attack is frank: bourbon vanilla, dark chocolate , leather and sweet spices intertwine, evoking the synergy of the volcanic terroir and the well-cared-for barrels . The finish, long and generous, rests on notes of warm oak, liquorice and a final smoky echo, perfect to conclude a contemplative moment.
