La Flibuste 1980 is one of the oldest vintages ever released by Distillerie La Favorite . It continues the prestigious tradition of this iconic collection, embodying a tradition of excellence. Each La Flibuste cuvée is an AOC Martinique aged agricultural rum, column distilled from pure cane juice, then aged for a long time in a tropical climate.

This 1980 edition bears witness to ancestral know-how: around 30 years of aging in oak barrels , a numbered bottling, a wax seal applied by hand, and a complexity shaped by the slow patina of time.

Its dark color suggests a nose with accents of candied plum, vanilla, precious wood and dried mango . On the palate, the balance is sovereign: liquorice, leather, cinnamon , before a long and structured finish where black fruits, oriental spices and blond tobacco intermingle.
