From the oldest distillery still in operation in the world, the 1703 Master Select 2017 embodies the expertise of Mount Gay , founded in 1703 on the island of Barbados. Created by master blender Allen Smith , this exceptional blend is the result of the selection of 55 of the oldest casks in the house , containing rums aged for 10 to 30 years in ex-bourbon casks.

Published in approximately 12,000 numbered bottles for the year 2017, this vintage reveals a beautiful elegance, balancing power and roundness. Its nose opens with warm notes of vanilla, melting caramel, ripe banana, grilled coconut and toasted wood . On the palate, the texture is silky, carried by aromas of dried fruits, sweet spices and toffee , before a persistent finish, subtly woody and spicy .
