Made from a precisely calibrated single cask , this rum was distilled in 2005 using a Creole column and then aged for 7 years in ex-Bourbon oak barrels , before being bottled at 45.8% cask strength on September 7, 2012 in the cellars of the Neisson distillery in Martinique.

This vintage offers a light amber color and a fresh and engaging nose , combining yellow fruits, dried apricot and gourmet nuances , according to the opinion of the RumX community (addition: “Yellow fruits, Dried apricot, Fresh”) . On the palate, the attack is frank , followed by mellow notes of candied fruits, hazelnut , all balancing in a long and aromatic finish, structured but accessible.
