The Neisson Armada 4.4.8 pays tribute to the distillery's 88th anniversary in 2020. Its code "4.4.8" echoes its distillation date of April 8, 2004 and its alcohol content of 44.8% , aged for approximately 17 years in a Martinique climate ( Armada means "flotilla", a nod to the house's Nautical vintages) {cite} (4.4.8 = 8.4.4 date + abv).

Made from an undisclosed blend of ex-Bourbon barrels, artisanal and limited, this AOC Martinique agricultural rum is a cask strength , bottled without reduction , demonstrating a rich and authentic character.

On the nose, this Armada offers a delicious depth : praline, hazelnut, chocolate, ripe pear and vanilla, with the burst of fresh citrus. On the palate, the balance is impeccable: notes of ripe fruit, caramel, coconut, sweet spices, with a long, minty and delicately woody finish .
