Description
The Neisson 2005 12 years 49.7% is an AOC Martinique agricultural rum, distilled in a Creole column from pure cane juice and aged for 12 years in ex-Bourbon barrels . Bottled at 49.7% , it is a limited edition of 1,742 numbered bottles.
The amber color reveals a complex nose where woody notes, fresh fruits (pear, apricot) , and liquorice dominate, with discreet aromas of mint and caramelized sugar . On the palate, the attack is very balanced: candied apricot, grilled hazelnut, caramel , then a gentle bitterness. The finish, long and silky, mixes dark chocolate, spices and citrus fruits .
