The New Grove Emotion 1969 is a timeless cuvée, a vibrant tribute to the Mauritian history of rum. Made from a rare blend whose core component was distilled in 1969, this traditionally aged rum rested for nearly 50 years in oak barrels previously containing whisky. It was then supplemented with exceptional batches from the 2005 to 2008 vintages, creating a balance between ancient wisdom and younger vitality.

This exceptional vintage is presented in an elegant, numbered decanter. An ultra-limited edition, only 257 were produced worldwide. Bottled at 47% ABV, this nectar is an invitation to explore the sensory complexity of a collectible rum.

On the nose, stewed exotic fruits, fine leather, and toasted wood open up with intensity. On the palate, sweet spices, dried fig, and candied zest linger. The finish, persistent and racy, reveals nuances of blond tobacco, cedar, and bitter cocoa.
