Description
From the 2008 vintage , this Bielle 2008 is an agricultural rum distilled in a column in 2008 in Marie-Galante. Aged for 13 years in ex-Bourbon barrels , it was bottled without reduction at 55.1% – a cask strength – in 2021 , in a numbered decanter limited to 995 copies .
Its golden color reveals a rich and delicious nose , mixing notes of honey, warm spices, candied fruits, toast and vanilla , enhanced by a delicate woodiness. On the palate, the power manifests itself with elegance: dark chocolate, ripe citrus fruits, orange peel and cocoa , on a warm texture. The finish , long and structured, offers a perfect marriage between vanilla and toasted oak , leaving an intense and refined trail.
