Description
Depaz 's Cuvée Unique 2004 - 2001 celebrates a double tribute to rare vintages, reflecting the volcanic terroir of Mount Pelée. The 2004 aged 17 years and the 2001, 20 years old , have been combined to offer an exceptional balance, were bottled at 45% in a neat carafe, limited to 420 copies .
Its amber-hued color announces a nose marked by dried fruits , refined wood , a hint of pepper and tobacco , the signature of slow tropical maturation. On the palate, the attack reveals ripe mango , notes of almond and sweet spices , with a long, woody and toasted finish, punctuated by a structured harmony between the two vintages.
