Coming from the agricultural tradition of the JM distillery in Martinique, the 1995 Vintage is an old agricultural rum distilled in a column then aged for 15 years in ex-Bourbon barrels , before being bottled in 2011 at 44.8% , without excessive filtration, in an official edition presented in a numbered wooden box.

This single cask displays a golden color with honey highlights. On the nose, we perceive aromas of freshly pressed cane , cut herbs , roasted toffee , salted peanuts , fruity candies and a delicate touch of mint.

On the palate, the attack is sweet and complex: flowers, cane bark, mandarin zest, warm buttered croissant, accompanied by subtle vanilla and delicate aniseed. The finish, short to medium, evokes smoke from burnt cane fields and vanilla sweetness.

An elegant intensity, the fruit of fifteen years of Martinican patience.
