La Flibuste 2000 embodies the majesty of this iconic collection from the La Favorite distillery. Each vintage is an AOC Martinique aged agricultural rum, distilled from pure sugarcane juice using a column distillation process and then aged in a tropical climate in oak barrels previously used for cognac or bourbon.

This 2000 vintage marks the entry into the 21st century with elegance. It has aged for around 20 years , before being bottled at 40% , in a numbered and wax-sealed carafe, according to the refined codes of the Flibuste range.

Its deep color invites an enveloping tasting. The nose reveals a rich palette of vanilla , dried fruits , dark chocolate and toasted wood . On the palate, the texture is smooth and generous, carried by notes of honey , prunes , sweet spices and cocoa , before a long and warm finish , the signature of Martinique's know-how.
