Enclosed behind a glass with mahogany reflections, La Mauny Vintage 1987 evokes the suspended moment when the Rivière-Pilote cane captured all the light of an exceptional year. Distilled in 1987 , this aged agricultural rum matured patiently for nine years in old oak barrels in a tropical climate, before being bottled in October 1996 at 43% vol.

On the nose, it displays a beautiful freshness of candied citrus fruits, ripe cane and precious wood . On the palate, the texture is round , carried by notes of caramel, dried fruits, vanilla and sweet spices . The persistent finish reveals a beautiful harmony between macerated fruits, blond tobacco and a slightly resinous touch.
