Coming from Batch 1 1994 , this Neisson 18 year old is the fruit of the blend of three barrels from the 1994 vintage, bottled in 2012 at 43.6% , in a very limited edition by the team led by Gregory Vernant Neisson .
This single cask reveals the pure essence of AOC Martinique agricultural rum . Its deep color announces a complex nose , mixing old wood, dried figs, grilled nuts , as well as vanilla and sweet spices. On the palate, the attack is velvety and the evolution is marked by notes of dark chocolate, baking spices, ripe banana . The finish is long , finely structured and elegantly woody.
