Distilled in 2007 at the Poisson distillery in Marie-Galante, Père Labat Poséidon is a single cask brut de fût , aged for 15 years in a single American oak barrel , then bottled at 54% without reduction , limited edition of 521 bottles .

Its dark amber color reveals a powerful, spicy and woody nose , where cinnamon, pepper and vanilla pod are expressed, enhanced by gourmet notes of bitter chocolate, coffee and leather. On the palate, the attack is smooth and assertive , with a burst of crème brûlée, mentholated cocoa and dark tobacco , followed by a very long finish, punctuated with coffee powder, nutmeg and black pepper.
